Fantastischer Song vom 73er Hammeralbum "Grand Hotel". Das gesamte Album war sehr klassisch produziert und mit Streicher angereichert. Dieser Track, mit unlogischen Akkorden und einer traurig-düsteren Note, hebt sich aber deutlich ab. Eine extrem schöne, wie schon geschrieben traurige Melodie, eine klassische Sängerin und wieder die tragende Stimme Gary Brookers, machen diesen Song endlos wertvoll! Gigantisch.

Na, wenn man den ganzen Tag sich die Klosterthaler von A-Z reinzieht, dann kann man diesen phantastischen Song auch nicht entsprechend würdigen.<br>Gehört zum allerstärksten von einer der allerbesten Bands, die die Welt je gesehen hat. Das waren eben die 1970er, oft kopiert, nie erreicht. 6+

Ein weiterer unglaublich toller Song von Gary Brooker & Co.<br>Piller bringt es auf dem Punkt - der Mann fehlt hier!<br><br>2022, anfügend: Die Stimme besagter Sängerin, Christiane Legrand, erinnert frapierend an den Annie Haslams von Renaissance ..!<br>
